We've entered the final month of the season. The stakes are higher, the wins taste that much better, and the losses are that much more demoralizing.
To the picks!
Last weeks record: 10-6
Overall record: 111-69-1
Minnesota @ Baltimore: As I told you earlier, a Baltimore loss would be HUGE here for the Dolphins. However, I just don't see it. Not with that Minnesota offense. Give me the Ravens.
Atlanta @ Green Bay: A good game three months ago. A snoozer now. No Aaron Rodgers, no bueno. I'll take the Falcons.
Kansas City @ Washington: It's hard to watch RGIII these days. He needs a new coach, and he needed him yesterday. Until then, I don't see him having much success. Chiefs.
Buffalo @ Tampa Bay: Mike Glennon hit a speed bump last week. I think he gets back on track tomorrow. Give me the Buccaneers.
Detroit @ Philadelphia: Nick Foles is due for a let down game, isn't he? I think Detroit gets physical up front, gets after Foles early and often, and gets an impressive road win. I'll take the Lions in a good one.
Indianapolis @ Cincinnati: Think Andrew Luck misses Reggie Wayne? No Wayne, no offensive line, no win. I'll take the Bengals at home.
Cleveland @ New England: Another tough game here for New England... Between Houston last week, and Buffalo in two weeks, it should be a tough stretch for Tom Brady and company, huh? Patriots win it, easily.
Oakland @ N.Y. Jets: Is Geno Smith starting? He is? Okay, give me the Raiders.
Tennessee @ Denver: Ryan Fitzpatrick is doing his best to keep the Titans afoot in the AFC playoff picture. I don't think that continues this week. Peyton and the Broncos at home.
Seattle @ San Francisco: UPSET ALERT!!! I know, my upset special last week didn't quite pan out, but I have a good feeling about this one. No way the Niners lose again to the Seahawks. Not at home. Give me the 49ers.
N.Y. Giants @ San Diego: This is essentially a playoff game for these two. The winner stays alive in the playoff race, while the loser has the draft on their mind the rest of the way. I like the Chargers here. But with these two, you never know.
St. Louis @ Arizona: The bad Carson Palmer came out last week? Who are we gonna get tomorrow? I think we get the good one. Arizona just has too much to play for, especially at home. Give me the Cardinals.
Carolina @ New Orleans: This is a big time game for Cam Newton. Can he play with the big boys on the road? I don't like his chances, especially after that ugly loss by Drew Brees last week. That defense will keep them in it, so a Panthers win wouldn't totally shock me, but I'll believe it when I see it. Saints.
Dallas @ Chicago: This would be a classic game for the Boys to lose, wouldn't it? On National TV, during a playoff race, and in the bitter cold. We've seen it a thousand times. That being said... Give me the Cowboys.
Alright, it's almost game time folks. The weather is calling for snow showers all day tomorrow in Pittsburgh. Luckily for you, The Dolphinsider operates in all conditions- rain, snow, sleet, or shine- so make sure to come back in the morning for all your pre-game coverage, including my prediction.
And, as always, follow the live blog throughout the game starting after the first quarter.
15 hours.
