One of the more popular segments of 2013 is back. Yes, it's that time of year again, where scoreboard watching is socially acceptable and, with the Dolphins off today, what better week to start your watching than today?
So, without further ado, here is the first viewer guide of 2014:
Texans @ Browns (1:00, CBS): Houston is on the outside looking in at 4-5, while the Browns currently lead the AFC North with a surprising 6-3 record. The Texans shouldn't scare Miami, especially now that they've made the switch to Ryan Mallet, so if they can pull of the upset on the road and knock the Browns to four losses that would be huge going forward. Root Texans all day long.
Seahawks @ Chiefs (1:00, FOX): I picked the Seahawks to win this game, and I expect them to. A Kansas City loss would be huge for the Dolphins, as the Chiefs pose a major problem for Miami going forward.
Bengals @ Saints (1:00, CBS): I expect the Bengals downward spiral to continue today. For Dolfans, a Cincinnati loss would be welcomed with open arms, as they are ahead of the Dolphins in the loss column right now.
Raiders @ Chargers (4:05, CBS): Today would be a fantastic day for the Raiders first win of the season... Root for it, but don't count on it. Luckily, Miami already beat San Diego, so this game isn't all to important yet.
Patriots @ Colts (8:30, NBC): A Colts win puts Miami one game behind the Patriots with six to play, including a trip to Gillette in a few weeks. Need I say more?
Titans @ Steelers (8:30, ESPN): Miami got a huge break when the Steelers lost last week.. Another one this week would be huge for the Dolphins playoff hopes... however, I wouldn't count on it.
Broncos week begins tomorrow.
Seven days.
