The Miami Dolphins are playing too well offensively to only have three points in this football game.
Ryan Tannehill has played well. He finished the first half 14-18 for 136 yards, however, a costly red zone fumble tainted an otherwise strong start.
The running game has been solid as well, putting up 56 on 8 carries. Lamar Miller had a 33 yard run in the second quarter, which was his highest for the season.
The problem has been on defense. Simply put, this unit just cannot get off the field. Buffalo has had two drives in this game, a 14 play drive and a 17 play drive. The Bills are 6-8 on third down. That's not going to work going forward.
Luckily, the defense kept Buffalo out of the end zone on both drives. Like the Dolphins, the Bills struggle mightily in the red zone.
Tannehill's fumble is the difference in this must win game right now. The Bills will get the ball when the second half begins.
Can the defense get a stop?
To the third.
