Late drive cuts Tampa lead to 15-7 at halftime

It could be, and probably should be, a lot worse.

After 28 minutes of arguably the worst football I've ever seen the Miami Dolphins play, Ryan Tannehill led a 9 play, 90 yard drive ending in a Rishard Matthews TD.  Tannehill was 8-8 on the drive, and ended the half hitting his last 12.

Matthews torched the Tampa defense, catching 8 passes for 77 yards, and the TD.

Tannehill finished the first half 15-19, 121 yards, and a TD.

The running game?  Well, it's been beyond brutal.

7 runs.  0 yards. 

Yes.  ZERO.

Defensively, the Miami D stiffened up after allowing an opening drive TD, followed by a FG.  The lack of pressure on Glennon has been concerning, as has the run defense, and both things MUST change moving forward.

Miami will get the ball to start.  Can they build on the momentum?

Remember, their worst quarter this season has been the third.
