Dolphins Blow Ten Point Lead, Fall To Panthers 20-16

Like so many Miami losses, this one stings.

Badly.

They were up 16-6 at halftime. And lost.

They were up by three on a fourth and ten desperation play by Carolina.

And lost.

They were down by four in the final seconds and had Mike Wallace at the goal line, 60 yards down field.

Wallace dropped it. And Miami lost.

They had it. They dominated this game on both sides of the ball.

Ryan Tannehill out dueled Superman.

Mike Wallace out dueled the entire Carolina secondary.

Brent Grimes shut down Steve Smith.

And Miami still found a way to lose.

The Fins now drop to 5-6 on the season, and fall into a tie with, well, everybody for the 6th and final playoff spot.

A win would've put Miami in sole possession with 5 games to play.

The Jets are up next. The Steelers are after that.

Two games that will make or break Miami's season.

This team.
