It took the Fins starting offense SEVEN possessions, but we finally have a TD.
In what was the Ryan Tannehill to Dustin Keller coming out party, the former NY Jet hauled in a 22 YD TD pass in the back of the end zone. Don't let me undersell it, it was one heck of a catch. Keller also hauled in a 24 YD pass earlier in the drive.
Tannehill finished the 1st quarter 5-9 for 75 yards, and a TD. However, no Mike Wallace connections.
The first team defense was dominant, as they should be, ending the first quarter with a Nolan Carroll INT off a tipped pass. This is exactly what the Miami Dolphins needed tonight, TURNOVERS.
One more note, the starting offensive line was abysmal for the first two drives, as Tannehill was constantly on the run. However, the line was MUCH better on the TD scoring drive.
To the second.
