Miami Dolphins H-back Charles Clay tore a ligament in his right knee in Sunday's game against Jacksonville, and will undergo season ending surgery sometime this week to repair it.
He will be placed on injured reserve for the seasons' final two games.
Clay, a former Tulsa standout who caught 18 passes for 212 yards and scored two touchdowns in his second NFL season, will need three months to fully recover from the knee injury.
