New Dolphins' regime set to begin 2012 draft

The NFL draft is just about underway, as the Indianapolis Colts are all but on the clock in New York City.

As you can see above, the Miami Dolphins are ready as well for what many are tabbing the most important draft in franchise history.

Experts have nearly unanimously pegged QB Ryan Tannehill as the Fins' number one target, and they could be right.  But hey, does anybody remember the 2007 draft?

Ted Ginn Jr. ring any bells?

Yikes.  The problem may not be the Dolphins not taking Tannehill, but whether or not they get the chance to.  Does Cleveland take him?  Minnesota?  Jacksonville?

Or will he fall right into GM Jeff Ireland's lap?

You'll know the minute it's announced right here on the Dolphinsider, so check back in!

Until then, lets put it to a vote.
