Dolphins knock Jets out of playoffs, finish 2011 season with 19-17 win

The Miami Dolphins looked down and out midway through the 3rd quarter.

Then they came to life.

Matt Moore orchestrated a 21 play, 94 yard TD drive, finishing it with a 1 yard strike to Charles Clay in the corner of the endzone.

Up by three with 10 minutes to play, Jason Taylor put the finishing touches on a hall-of-fame career when he nearly sacked QB Mark Sanchez, forcing him to throw early and into the hands of Randy Starks. A Dan Carpenter field goal followed putting Miami up by 6.

Another Mark Sanchez interception all but sealed the game on the next Jets drive. He finished with three on the day.

Keep checking back for more post game analysis as the Miami Dolphins close out there 2011 season with a 19-17 win over the New York Jets.
